Job Summary

The Kids Playground / Recreation Attendant is responsible for supervising children in the playground and recreation areas, ensuring their safety, providing friendly customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and enjoyable environment for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children using the playground and recreational facilities.
• Ensure children follow playground safety rules and club regulations.
• Monitor the playground continuously and respond promptly to safety concerns or incidents.
• Welcome children and parents in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist children with recreational activities and games when required.
• Check playground equipment regularly and report damaged or unsafe equipment to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the playground and surrounding areas.
• Control attendance and maintain accurate records of children using the facility.
• Verify membership or access requirements where applicable.
• Assist with children’s activities, events, and recreational programs organized by the club.
• Handle minor incidents appropriately and immediately report accidents or emergencies to the supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, security, and facility procedures.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding playground rules and general matters.
• Support the recreation team with other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a children’s playground, recreation facility, nursery, school, hotel, hospitality, club, or similar environment is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, patient, and responsible attitude toward children.
• Ability to remain attentive and alert for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of child safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• First Aid (BLS) /CPR certification is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
